Painting and Teaching
Becoming a Better Painter, One Painting at a Time
Demonstration of painting water for my class
It’s been busy around here the last few weeks! Since I’ve last written you, I’ve been painting and teaching a lot! A few days ago I returned home from a week in Cartersville Georgia where I taught and was a guest speaker at the museum. I started the week giving a presentation at the Booth Museum on the ‘Language of Painting”. It went GREAT and had lots of art loving folks turn out to listen and learn about painting as a means of communication followed up by a book signing and sold out of my case of books! Thank you for all that came to listen and be part!
The rest of the week I spent teaching a fantastic group of painters how I paint water and reflections with oil paints. I left feeling soul nourished, mind stimulated, and inspired. Thank you to each of my students for being so present and eager to learn and grow. You are awesome!
